These rules were conceived to memorialize the deaths of Pat Summit and Lauren Hill and her quote conveying “hope to make a difference”. However, uncertainly of public acceptance kept this product design in the background waiting for the proper time.
But, now with the tragedy of the Bryants both dying so early…our Creator voice went off like a bell rung by this Spiritually significant event …and now here we are with the new rules for NCAA BB. Yes, these rules like the ShuttlePlane Human Transport ecosystem vision are a gift from God.
Also during this time since Lauren’s death, we as a people have grown into being more accepting of gender integration, and now these rules are not as radical as they once seemed when conceived and are ready to come forth and drive this inevitable change.
Like the ShuttlePlane Human Transport ecosystem…these rules are a result of taking a look at our world with the perspective of everything we see is “our world”. And, we have the human ability to change any of products history has built into what delivers for our current ‘today’ needs and values.
Realize that Basketball is just the first sport to change. Then we will see 5&5 Baseball, 6&6 Football, No LPGA and Bryant-Summit-Hill rules for Soccer, Hockey, and other quarter sports.
For those fans that have resistance to changing the rules of NCAA Basketball...please remember that basketball started as a ‘peach basket’. The rules to the game have evolved and evolved to the state that they are in now. And, the rules are about to change again after the ladies read the following facts:
1. Women will never get equal pay for equal work when it comes to Basketball until they share the main venue. The main venue will remain the Men’s venue until perspective is gained, and the rules evolve (yet again) to equally include women giving the word ‘team’ a more contemporary definition.
2. There is no reason not to combine the women’s and the men’s segregated teams into ‘One Real Team’ that reflects the perspective of the 2020’s and going forward in the Sophisticated Age!
The negro leagues and the colored drinking fountains have gone away…and now so too will male dominated sports and gender bias.
Sports are entertaining because of the way they setup the ‘drama of excellence and drive’. The battle…the controlled fight…we love it. Sports magnify our lives mirroring our values. There is no room for any type of gender bias in today’s world. Having segregated teams…when there is no reason but history for it to be this way…is absurd. Basketball started with a peach basket and has evolved to where it is today. Surely the game will keep evolving to be inclusive of both genders.
Sports and Basketball are in the process of taking an Era-Step. Yes, a new era of gender integration is happening. And, the world is ready for what is now written here (not so much when Loren Hill died…but now with the death of the Bryants, we are ready).
Simply put…Kobe is a hero that was taken too early. Let’s make his and his daughter’s death not go down without prompting a significant change to happen.
Same game, but now with a simple Roller Derby twist that allows us to play both men/women at the venue event.
Four 18 Minute Quarters (women start…men finish)
We play four 18 minute quarters with the women always starting and the men always finishing the game (legacy of the men’s game is to let the men always finish out the game). Also, the starting of the women allows folks that really just like the men to be late for the game and not miss any of the men’s action. (The men loose 4 minutes of play time with this scheme…not that significant considering what we get out of it.)
We were thinking of having maybe a coin toss or another way to determine what gender facet starts the game…but with all of the wagering, and wanting to keep it simple and eliminate confusion…we went with consistently having the women ‘starting’ and the men ‘ending’ the game. Also, let’s keep both the men’s and women’s coaches is another decision we like.
Kobe is a hero that was taken too early. Let’s make his and his daughter’s death not go down in vain. This is one of those, “Yes, of course we want to do that” kind of things…agreed? Let’s ask Steph Curry if he would like to see his daughter Riley play on the ‘big floor’ or on some segregated (discounted) women’s floor somewhere…no need to bother him with the question…because the answer is obvious, yes?

1. Equal pay for equal work (there will be no equality without an equally shared venue…yes men, we have to share the venue).
2. Make the word ‘Team’ be more consistent with our current values.
3. Make Basketball an ‘All Inclusive’ and more interesting game.
Basketball is just the first sport to go “Omnigender”. Changes propagate through all of the sports enabling 5&5 Baseball, 6&6 Football, Omni-PGA, and BSH Rules for Soccer, Hockey, and other quarter sports.
